16 Jun Ready for the Summer (now we just need some sun)
Wow, what a busy start to the season. Easter was a blur and the Jubilee and half term holiday definitely kept us on our toes, but it’s lovely to be back in the full swing of things!
We are very excited for the summer and looking forward to our second year in St Mawes. It’s wonderful to have the experience of last year to build on and the support of the community has been fantastic throughout the off season. There have been some serious lessons learned along the way, but we are confident that this season will be even better than the last and if we go by our ever growing praise on Trip Advisor, everything seems to be moving in the right direction.
As a part of the new season we also have some new faces at The Watch House. In the kitchen we have been blessed with the lovely Sarah Blewett. Sarah is a pastry chef by trade as is keeping us up to our eyes in fresh cakes, scones, meringues and bread. We also have Adel Tranter helping Will to turn out great food.
Out front we have a new Front of House Manager, Michael Lombardo. Michael has years of experience managing teams in London and he is doing a wonderful job making sure our level of service in the restaurant continues to improve.
