03 Nov The Watch House is joining the Movember Movement
The Watch House team will be joining in on the Movember movement, growing moustaches throughout the month of November to help raise awareness and funds for battling cancers that effect men. A number of people within the Watch House team have had family members affected by prostate cancer and we wanted to take this opportunity to give back and have some fun doing so.
The main idea is that you get sponsored to grow a great moustache during the month of November and are sponsored by people willing to donate money for a good cause. You can not grow a beard and can not shave until the end of November, which should make for an interesting look in our kitchen. We will be proving regular updates on the blog and if you see us around town, we ask you to please not laugh at the silly hair sprouting on our lips!
In addition to moustaches, the Watch House will also be serving the Movember Mussel Pot through November and 50p of each sale will go towards our fundraising effort. We are de-bearding our mussels, but leaving the moustaches for this month.
